About
FUTURES is a commercial gallery foolishly conceived mid-pandemic with the express purpose of exposing important work of contemporary artists in the city of Narrm/Melbourne. The gallery occupies a sinuous but workable 55 m2 exhibition in uptown Collingwood.
Committed to smart and thoughtful exhibition-making, the gallery works with early and mid-career artists from Australia and further afield to realise potent shows and feed a hungry arts audience. FUTURES now represents a tight roster of artists while continuing its commitment to a dynamic and open program.
Director: Zara Sigglekow
FUTURES is a member of the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA).
ACCESSIBILITY
The gallery entrance contains two steps. We are wheelchair accessible by appointment (there's an adjacent parking space leading to the back of the gallery, and we can ensure that it is clear of vehicles at a specified time for wheelchair access). The driveway is always clear during exhibition openings and events.
FUTURES is available to hire for events. Please reach out. FUTURES accepts Art Money.
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the unceded lands where we exhibit and trade contemporary art, the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation. We extend our respect to their Ancestors and all First Peoples and Elders past, present, and future.
